The Morey family is one of the most well-known in the Côte de Beaune. The 2023 Saint-Aubin Charmois 1er Cru is one of the hidden gems of the domaine. This is taut and minerally on the nose, with wet limestone undertones infusing the malic scents. The palate is underpinned by a fine bead of acidity, lovely balance and hints of apricot decorating the poised finish. This should drink well for the next decade but will be tempting in its youth.
